SDGs & CSR in India

The CSR regulation sets a broad framework and gives direction for better sustainable future and the SDGs set tangible well defined targets to measure the outcome of activities. ISDA defines its CSR focus area on enhancing livelihoods through skill development training, women empowerment, quality healthcare services, education etc. It is contributing to various SDGs like creating a means to end poverty, zero hunger, quality education, gender equality and decent work and economic growth. CSR and the SDGs can provide a powerful model for sustainable growth. SDGs provide a framework that can be leveraged by government bodies, corporations, civil society and individuals. All our interventions areas are in line with SDGs. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aim to transform our world. They are a call to action to end poverty and inequality, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy health, justice and prosperity.
